Denotation and connotation

1.the water aid advert shows the cruel side of humanity showing a young boy who looks dehydrated and sad looking it says dig toilets not graves implying that a lot of people die and it may be caused due to the poo and without water the land is dry and the sun is blazing hot in the image. the clothes he wears are ragged and destroyed which is symbolic  because it shows how his life is it represents him,showing that has in a urban area the walls and houses behind him are old looking or are made with poorer technology..https://www.google.co.uk/search?

2)there are ice cubes near the coca cola drink and some in it to show its a refreshing drink and there some water droplets in the water showing its hydrating, there is water on the floor showing that its overflowing it has big words saying ''its the real thing coke.''  it also has the coco cola image as well to represent the company.
